HOW CAN I REALISE THE SHIVA WITHIN?



As simple as it may sound......it is not!
As difficult as it may sound.....it is not!
In order to realize Shiva, you need to realize your elf..........realising yourself will make you realise shiva.
just as a wave thinks that she is different from the ocean, we all think we are different from shiva and we need to realise him. The fact is that the wave emerges out of the ocean, lives in the ocean and merges back into the ocean. the wave cannot exist without the ocean. Similarly, we emerge out of shiva, live in shiva and finally merge back into shiva. We see ourselves as separate from him due to the effect of maya. The word maya, it self means "that which is not".
However, Shiva Thirumandiram Shastra beautifully answers your question:
"He who offers material to me in the temple may or may not find me but he who offers service to one of my creations ie: a hungry dog, a thirsty tree or a penniless poor will surely find me hidden within my creation.....for i eat as the dog, i drink as the tree and i become wealthy by your gratitude"

The word "Hindu" is neither a Sanskrit word nor is this word found in any of the native dialects and languages of India. It should be noted that "Hindu" is NOT a religious word at all.
